Fong Puu Tea Co.

Bongpo Chajang is a tea house in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, near Taipei Main Station, selling tea leaves and takeaway tea for over 100 years. It offers tastings of Alishan high-mountain oolong and Dongfang Meiren, brewed multiple times in a gaiwan, and also sells tea bags and teaware. At 10 a.m. it is quiet and three teas can be tasted, with guidance in English, Japanese, or via a translation app on the tea's origins and brewing method. Drinks brewed on site do not come out immediately after ordering.
