Zhucun Izakaya Zhongpo is a Japanese-style izakaya a 15-minute walk from Songshan Station, a small bar serving yakitori along with grilled and simmered dishes. Its signature Zhucun grilled item contains cheese inside, and grilled mentaiko rice balls, rolled omelette, and corn shoots are also listed as popular items. Orders are marked directly on the menu and taken to the counter at the front, and the shop seats 6 to 7 tables. Food comes out slowly, so it does not suit days when you are hungry or short on time.
