Sappho Live Jazz

Sappho Live Jazz is a live jazz bar near Xinyi Anhe MRT Station in Taipei. Each day of the week different musicians play sets built around themes such as Brazilian music, Latin funk, and blues jams, and the bar serves drinks and simple food. Arriving early is necessary to sit near the front, and the cover charge varies by performance while a drink order is required. The level of playing varies widely between the groups that perform.
