NISEI・二世 Speakeasy 餐酒館・Bar-Bistro

NISEI is a speakeasy bar in Taipei that serves food and cocktails mixing Taiwanese, Japanese and American elements. The menu includes fusion dishes such as New York bing, California shrimp balls and old Taipei-style hongshao beef noodle pasta, alongside cocktails built on Taiwanese tea aromas. The cocktails are divided into Japanese, American and Taiwanese categories, and about half of them contain selected tea. The interior is a small space decorated with ornaments and lucky charms recalling Taiwan under Japanese rule in the 1930s.
