Taebaek Paleozoic Natural History Museum sits next to Taebaek Gumunso and displays Paleozoic fossils and rocks from the Taebaek Basin. Its exhibits include fossils from the Joseon and Pyeongan supergroups, digital screens, and hands-on programs for children. A walking trail at Gumunso shows fossil traces, and the museum continues this with on-site interactive exhibits. The museum holds many fossil specimens and explains difficult terms in plain language, so it is also used as a learning space for children.
