Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is reached by about 40 minutes by train from Sydney and then a bus, and it is a wildlife park where visitors meet native Australian animals up close. At the entrance, visitors buy food cups and feed kangaroos, sheep, wallabies and parrots by hand, and can also see quokkas up close. Visitors can eat packed lunches at tables in front of the food stall, and a slow visit takes about four hours. Koalas are mostly asleep, so their faces are hard to see.
