Poppai is a beer hall in a residential area of Tokyo that serves Japanese craft beer on draft. Its beers include IPAs from local Japanese breweries and a watermelon salt gose, and during happy hour each beer comes with a simple snack. The venue has 70 draft taps, and orders are placed by linking a QR code to a Line account. When it gets crowded, the indoor air is stuffy and the seating is tightly spaced.
