Edo-Tokyo Museum is a history museum in Tokyo that covers the Edo period through modern Tokyo. Its exhibits are divided by era and by historical event, and include buildings and hands-on elements. The museum is large, so seeing all of it takes at least one hour. Special exhibitions and permanent exhibitions do not share tickets and must be purchased separately.
