Akiya Izakaya

Sakaba Akiya is an izakaya in an alley in Koenji. You choose oden items such as daikon, eggplant, Vienna sausage, suji, and yubu-jumoni, and order them along with tofu cheese and highballs. The shop is small, with oden heated beside the counter seats, and there are tables outside and a small table inside. Reservations are required, and arriving late can mean many oden items are sold out.
