Hyeonudong is a Sanuki-style hand-cut udon shop in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, a 10 to 15 minute walk from Sinsa Station on the opposite side of Garosu-gil. It serves thick, chewy noodles in dishes such as bukkake udon and kamatama udon mixed with mentaiko, egg, and butter, with karaage and tempura available on the side. On weekday lunches the wait runs about 15 minutes, and waiting customers give their name to staff and stand outside until called. The interior is small with narrow spacing between seats.
