Hwachoonok

Hwachoonok Cheongdam is a Korean grilled-meat restaurant in Cheongdam-dong that serves Suwon-style galbi. Staff grill the salt-based marinated galbi over charcoal and set it on a small brazier at the table. The restaurant presents itself as carrying on an 80-year tradition, and the meal comes with side dishes such as marinated gejang, seokhwa, and octopus tossed with chives, along with individual portions of doenjang jjigae. It has private rooms on the second floor and a downdraft ventilation system.
