Yakun Kaya Toast is a cafe on basement level 2 of City Square in Singapore that serves kaya toast and coffee. The crisp toast is spread with kaya jam and butter and dipped in a soft-boiled egg mixed with soy sauce, and the coffee comes as a hot drink with condensed milk. You take a seat first and then order; the eggs and drinks arrive first, and the toast is picked up when the bell rings. Eating the condensed milk coffee with the sweet toast turns heavy partway through, and the coffee is only available hot.
