Ya Kun Kaya Toast

Yakun Kaya Toast is in the basement of Raffles City in Singapore and connects to Swissôtel. It serves kaya toast, coffee, and a set with two soft-boiled eggs, with kaya jam and a large piece of salty butter between thin, crisp slices of toast. In the morning the seats fill quickly and waits of about 15 minutes after ordering are common, and takeout is available. The inside of the shop is hot and humid, which makes it uncomfortable to eat at a table.
