Sen Yan Charcoal Traditional Toast

Sen Yan Charcoal Traditional Toast is a stall in a Sin Ming coffee shop that sells charcoal kaya toast and Nanyang-style coffee. Thick slices of bread are grilled over charcoal until crisp outside and soft inside, then filled with kaya and cold butter. For eat-in, you order from your seat and staff bring the food to you, and on weekend mornings the French loaf can sell out. The tea is strongly sweet and the eggs are overcooked.
