LESHAN CAFE is a Peranakan cafe inside the Music Box museum next to Thian Hock Keng Temple in Singapore, serving laksa, rendang chicken and nyonya kueh. The laksa contains plump shrimp, cucumber and fried tofu, while the nyonya kueh has a coconut aroma and a chewy texture. Seating is available in air-conditioned areas or along the corridor, and the Peranakan decor and murals of the old heritage building are visible. At lunchtime, waiting and order processing are slow and the menu selection is narrow.
