Terminal 21 Asok is a shopping mall connected to Asok station in Bangkok, with each floor themed around a city such as Tokyo, London or Paris. On the fifth floor, Pier 21 is a food court where Thai dishes like fried rice, pad thai, tom yum and som tam, along with desserts, are paid for with a food court card. The mall links to the BTS Asok station skywalk and the MRT Sukhumvit station underground, and a Gourmet Market sits in the basement, so transit and grocery shopping can be handled in one place. Pier 21 gets crowded at mealtimes, especially around 1 p.m., when finding a seat is tight.
