Yamatoya Honten

Yamato Ya Honten is a casual restaurant near Tsutenkaku in Shinsekai that serves sushi, kushikatsu, and fried dishes. Its signature kushikatsu include lotus root, shrimp, cheese, and sausage, and ordering two draft beers gets you a third one free. Many of the customers are locals, and the restaurant retains the feel of an old establishment. The kushikatsu is oily and heavy.
