Kawachiya

Shinsekai Kawachiya is a kushikatsu and horumon skewer restaurant a three-minute walk from the main street, directly in front of Tsutenkaku. It serves a 25-skewer horumon pyramid along with sukiyaki, udon, and kimchi, and the fried items come out freshly fried within five minutes of ordering. The Showa-era retro interior draws many local customers, and there were customers at 3 p.m. even without a reservation. Orders are placed through a QR menu, and staff can communicate in English.
