Roy Lichtenstein's official artwork OSAKA VICKI is painted on the wall of the cooling tower at Krista Nagahori in the Amerikamura intersection in Osaka. Based on the 1964 original, it adds blinds, a yellow frame, and dot patterns to fill the entire 37m by 15m wall. The project began with a request to decorate the cooling tower when Krista Nagahori opened in 1997. The original artist is Roy Lichtenstein, who was born in 1923 and died in 1997.
