Yakitori Mikado sits on the ninth floor of a building a one-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station in Tokyo. The restaurant serves a course of seasonal dishes and charcoal-grilled yakitori, including nine skewers such as hatsumoto, sasami, tsukune and chōchin, along with katsuo straw-smoked bonito, paitan soup, and a closing oyakodon or salt ramen. Diners eat the course at a counter of about ten seats while watching the grilling. Satisfaction relative to price is not high for the level of the food.
