Taruichi

Taruichi Honten is an izakaya in the basement of Kabukicho in Shinjuku, serving whale dishes, Tohoku food and Japanese sake. It offers a whale hoe platter, whale bacon, serinabe and deep-fried gobo, with sake such as Urakasumi. When booking alone through the website, the whale hoe platter must be selected, and the counter has about four seats for one or two people. The back has private rooms and floor seating.
