Shinjuku Tatsukichi

Tatsukichi Shinjuku Honten is in central Shinjuku, serving Japanese skewers and fried items as an omakase course. Skewers such as shrimp, Camembert cheese, and asparagus are fried one at a time in bite-sized portions, and a sauce is recommended for each skewer. Guests with a 5 p.m. reservation take the elevator to the ninth floor, and when they say they are finished, the staff count the skewers eaten to calculate the bill. Prices are on the higher side.
