Onegiya Shinjuku Honten

Onegiya Shinjuku Honten is an izakaya in Shinjuku, Tokyo, three minutes on foot from Shinjuku-sanchome Station. It serves green onion in several forms, including tuna hoe shabu-shabu, negi gui, grilled dishes, seasoned dishes, and hot pot, along with house-made tofu. On weekdays from around 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. it runs a happy hour, and the cooking can be watched from the U-shaped counter on the first floor. The food is seasoned on the salty side.
