Open Book

Open Book is a small standing bar surrounded by bookshelves in Golden Gai, Shinjuku. It serves a house-recipe lemon sour, a lemon sour made with black sugar soju, and a sake sour with nigorizake. The bar opens at 8 p.m. and fills up about ten minutes later, and it does not take reservations. The space is narrow, so customers drink standing without chairs.
