Chigusa

Chigusa is a long-established izakaya in the back alleys southeast of Shinjuku. It has run for over 80 years and serves chigusamaki and tsukune made with beef tongue. It is about a five-minute walk from Shinjuku east exit, past Alta. After 6 p.m., sometimes only counter seats remain. Without a reservation, seats are often unavailable.
