Tokyo Opera City is a complex cultural space in front of Hatsudai Station, combining exhibitions, classical performances, and a restaurant floor on the 53rd floor. Exhibitions use unconventional curation, including works lit by flashlight and artist explanations that extend to the floor. The wooden concert hall hosts piano recitals and orchestra performances, and the orchestra sells same-day tickets at an on-site booth starting at 5:30 p.m. The 53rd-floor sukiyaki restaurant Yoshida accepts reservations only on weekends, so walk-ins are not possible.
