Seikouen is a yakiniku restaurant a one- to two-minute walk from Akebonobashi Station, where meat and seafood are grilled over charcoal. Its signature items are wagyu tataki made from lightly seared A5 Kuroge wagyu ichibo and meat sushi prepared by a former sushi chef. Opened in Showa 55, the restaurant has a Showa-style interior with many four-person box seats, and it makes its own sauces, pickles, and soups. Grilling plates must be requested for replacement, and the response to such requests has been inattentive.
