Ichizō

Ichijo is an izakaya and set-meal restaurant near Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome Station in Tokyo. It serves winter chicken hot pot, pufferfish dishes, and pork loin tatsuta-age set meals. The chicken hot pot comes in portions for two to three people, and the broth is aged overnight with the chicken prepared so it does not boil for long. Ordering food only means paying in cash, and smoking is not allowed at lunch, where staff tell anyone using an e-cigarette to leave.
