Yakuoji Cafe

Yakuoji Cafe is a small cafe about 300 meters from Ushigome-yanagicho Station in Tokyo, serving coffee, toast, and vegetable-centered lunches. Its signature meal pudding is a chawanmushi-style dish topped with bacon and steamed vegetables, served with five small side dishes, bread or rice, and a mini coffee jelly for dessert. On weekdays, morning hours run from 8:30 to 11:00, classical music plays, and coffee beans and takeout coffee are available for purchase. The entrance is covered with frosted glass, so it is hard to see from outside whether the cafe is open or what the interior looks like.
