Soba & Chicken Handsome Shimokitazawa is a soba izakaya a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station, serving hand-kneaded soba alongside yakitori. The thin, firm hand-made soba comes with oyakodon and vegetable tempura, and Japanese sake is available. At lunch, oyakodon and cold soba can be ordered as a set, and from midday onward food and drinks can be had together. The sobayu is served thick, and the soba portion is small.
