Magic Spice

Magic Spice Shimokitazawa is the Tokyo branch of a Sapporo-based soup curry restaurant, located near Shimokitazawa Station with a bright red exterior. For the chicken curry, diners choose a chicken broth or tomato base and combine one of seven spice levels, from Kakusei to Koku, with toppings. Orders are placed by taking a number ticket from a machine at the entrance or using a tablet, and the curry usually arrives in about ten minutes. There is no Korean menu, and the number of choices makes ordering complicated.
