Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras is an old-style tearoom at the end of an alley in Shimokitazawa, serving coffee and toast. It offers drip coffee, iced coffee, and café au lait alongside French toast, cinnamon toast, and egg sandwiches, with coffee milk iced tea as a signature drink. Sets pair toast and a drink with one of two salads, tomato or radish and tuna, and the French toast is soaked through with egg and coated in sugar on the outside. The seating is limited, so on busy days you wait or leave.
