Brown's Books & Cafe

Brown's Books & Cafe sits on an upper floor of a small building off Pure Road alley, a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station. It is a book cafe where you can read and buy books, serving hot sandwiches and drinks alongside shelves of sumo, rakugo, and entertainment titles and the magazine BARFOUT!. It opens only on weekends, from 1 pm to 8 pm, with last orders at 7:30 pm. Television sumo broadcasts and loud conversation run through the space and disrupt reading.
