Wagokoro Izumi is a kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto that uses seasonal ingredients. It serves hoe and fish dishes cut with selected knife work, accompanied by several kinds of Japanese sake. A chef trained in Sakurada opened the restaurant, which occupies a Kyoto-style nagaya with a courtyard and uses hand-painted patterned dishes. Printed and handwritten menus are not available, and orders are taken only in Japanese.
