Totoya

Totoya is a restaurant just outside Kyoto Central Wholesale Market, west of Umekoji Kyoto-nishi Station, serving seafood dishes and fish takeout. It offers tuna rice bowls, various seafood rice bowls, and a hoe set with tuna, sea bream, hotaruika, yokowa tataki, and yellowtail. At the refrigerator by the entrance, you choose hoe or fish and eat it at the seats inside, where tuna is sliced as hoe and fried fish is reheated. The shop has counter seats with backrests and table seats, and asari miso soup is served with the meal.
