Sonoba is a hand-made soba restaurant in Kyoto. Kamo nanban is a warm dish of soba tossed in duck broth, with a lingering aroma of grilled scallion. It is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the making of hand-pulled noodles can be seen through the street-side window. Weekend waits run over 40 minutes, and on Sundays about an hour.
