Casa di Ciro Karasuma

Casa di Ciro Karasuma is a pizzeria between Shijo Station, Karasuma Station, and Gojo Station in Kyoto that serves Neapolitan-style pizza and Italian dishes. Thin dough made in-house is baked in a large pizza oven after ordering, producing dishes such as Bismarck, a prosciutto and arugula salad, and pistachio and tuna linguine. On weekday lunches, calling just before visiting to reserve a table made entry relatively easy. The antipasto platter has many items and enough food for three to four people, while walking in without a reservation can leave seating tight.
