Yugen Kyoto Shijo is a hotel with spacious rooms and a large bath, a six-minute walk from Kawaramachi. Room designs translate tatami motifs into seating furniture, and the interiors were recently renovated. There is a large bath and a sauna, the sauna carries a hinoki scent, and the bath water is good. Some standard rooms are a type without a table.
