Kingdom

Bar Kingdom is a classic cocktail bar in Kyoto, about a 10-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station between Shijo and Gojo. Without a menu, guests state a preference or base and the master builds a cocktail or martini around seasonal fruit. The converted machiya holds 7 to 8 counter seats, 2 tables, a separate room and a small garden, and a warm consommé soup is served on arrival. Seating is limited, so reservations are required.
