Bar Liquor Museum is a bar in Kyoto that serves cocktails, wine, beer and mainly Japanese whisky. It sits on the first floor right in front of the station, next to the Takasegawa canal in Kawaramachi, and stocks whiskies from around the world alongside its original Hakushu whisky, served as a highball, with toriaezu nama also available to order. A single bartender runs the place and uses a translation device to talk with customers who do not speak Japanese and to recommend whiskies. The female staff respond coldly and indifferently, so the service is uneven.
