Myeongdong

Myeongdong Station in Seoul is a subway station where shopping and street food are gathered. Myeongdong Street has street food stalls and cosmetics and shoe shops, along with Myeongdong Cathedral and many restaurants. The area has been a center of commerce since the Japanese colonial period, and old-style bars occasionally remain in the back alleys. The station is crowded with people coming and going.
