Seongji Bunsik

Seongji Bunsik is a neighborhood snack shop in Seongnam, directly in front of Exit 5 of Imae Station, selling tteokbokki, sundae, fried items, and gimbap. The tteokbokki uses wheat cakes in a thin, watery sauce, served old-style with odeng broth and fried items on the side. Regulars and takeout customers keep the place busy, and some menu items sell out if you arrive late in the afternoon. Seating is limited to folding tables set up in front of the shop, which are cramped and uncomfortable.
