Samwon Oksu Haecheontang is a seafood restaurant in the Hannam Heights commercial building in Oksu-dong, Seoul, that boils octopus, chicken, abalone, and shellfish together. The haecheontang adds Hanwoo beef, scallops, mussels, and shrimp, with cabbage eaten as shabu-shabu. Arriving at 5 p.m. on a Saturday, right after the break, still drew a wait of about 15 minutes, and the meal ends with ramen noodles or noodles added to the broth. On weekend evenings the restaurant can fill up and require a wait.
