Mesi is a Japanese restaurant near Ttukseom Station in Seongsu that serves gyudon, salmon rice bowls, and mentaiko cream udon. The salmon rice bowl pairs deodorized salmon with seasoned rice, while the gyudon and oyakodon come out as standard, predictable versions. Single seats make it easy to eat alone, and you can order extra shoyu when you want a saltier meal. There is a line during meal times, and on weekday evenings the wait can exceed 30 minutes.
