Haengdangjib

Haengdangjip is a chicken restaurant and drinking spot in Haengdang Market in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, serving nurungji whole chicken gui, chicken skewers, and various side dishes. The chamnamu cheese nurungji gui comes with glutinous rice nurungji, cheese, and kimchi inside the whole chicken, and customers also order the tteokbokki set. The chicken arrives 15 to 20 minutes after ordering, and on weekend evenings guests wait about ten minutes before entering. Whole chickens roasted over electric heat or firewood are served on top of nurungji.
