Galmaegie Kkum is an old charcoal grill restaurant in Wangsimni that serves galmaegisal and other cuts. The galmaegisal is grilled over briquette fire, and the meat comes out moist with a thick rind that takes chewing. Jumeokbap, ramyeon, doenjang jjigae, and bibim naengmyeon are available as sides, and staff recheck orders that go missing. In the evening the room is crowded and orders are slow.
