Cheongchungeukjang

Cheongchun Geukjang is a grilled back-rib restaurant in Haengdang-dong near Wangsimni, Seoul, where seasoned jjok galbi and spicy jjok galbi are cooked over charcoal. The seasoned jjok galbi comes with a separate spicy sauce, and the basic side dishes include pork skin, house-made sausage, and steamed egg, with odolppyeo rice balls and Yonggung ramyeon available to order. The pre-grilled jjok galbi is cooked bone-side first, then grilled evenly on all four sides. There is a wait during the evening peak, and the small dining room gets crowded during meals.
