Seongbukdong Pyeonbaek Jjim

Seongbukdong Pyeonbaek Jjim is a Korean restaurant in Seongbuk-dong near Exit 5 of Hansung University Station, serving pyeonbaek jjim and shabu. Food is placed in a cypress wood steamer on an electric range and steamed for about 15 minutes, followed by juk to finish the course. On weekdays more than half the tables are filled before 6 p.m., and by around 7 p.m. there are no empty seats, with many guests having reserved. The restaurant has been open for over a year and remains as clean and quiet as a newly opened place.
