Cheonghaeru is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant in the Dongsomun-dong alleys of Seoul, near Mirusa Sageori Station, serving jjajangmyeon, jjamppong, and tangsuyuk. It offers jaengban jjajang, yunijang, and shrimp fried rice, and its tangsuyuk is the old-style kind filled with meat. The restaurant has a long history, was taken over by a new owner, and reopened in early April 2026 after remodeling left the dining area clean. The tangsuyuk comes with the sauce already poured on, so anyone who wants it on the side must say so before ordering.
