Pungnyeon Tteokjip

Pungnyeon Tteokjip is a rice cake shop inside Moseulpo Jungang Market in Seogwipo that sells omegi tteok and steamed buns. Its signature omegi tteok contains more red bean paste than other versions, and the green bun-shaped rice cake is not overly sweet. The rice cakes stay soft for at least two weeks after purchase instead of hardening. The small steamed buns filled with black sesame paste are sold in sets of three.
